MID-LEVEL MANAGERS INSTITUTE

The Indy Campus hosted its first Mid-level Managers Institute on June 19-21, 2022. The theme for the meeting was “Leading Change” . More than 90 mid-level managers participated in the retreat. Some of the feedback from managers is noted below. “I enj oyed learning more about IvyAnalytics. While I would still like more training still, I learned that I have more access to data and reports than I realized and have the ability to customize these reports as needed.” “The open forum allowed me an opportunity to get my concerns heard and addressed directly.” “The budget presentation was very helpful, as I had never seen that level of detail before.” “Hearing from the Chancellor and understanding the distinction between President and Chancellor was especially helpful .” “There were many valuable takeaways. One that I found especially valuable was the importance of trust when trying to successfully implement change. It was important that we learned strategies to build this trust both within our own departments and with other staff, faculty, & students.” “The level -set: I feel like I have a much stronger understanding of where we are headed as a campus, the expectations that leadership has for me and my team, and the widespread interest that other folks across departments have in collaborating to support student success.”
