Adult at Risk An individual aged 18 or over who may be at risk of harm, including abuse, neglect, exploitation, grooming, or mental health difficulties. Safeguarding Actions taken to promote welfare and protect children and vulnerable adults from harm. This includes: • Protecting from abuse and maltreatment • Preventing harm to health or development • Ensuring safe and effective care • Enabling the best possible outcomes Child Protection A specific part of safeguarding focused on protecting children at risk of, or
