SAXPERIENCE Uživajte u zvucima saksofona / Enjoy the sounds of the saxophone Jedan od najuzbudljivijih događaja u okviru festi- vala je i sada već tradicionalna Zombi šetnja, što je prilika da se transformišete u zastrašujućeg zom- bija, zahvaljujući profesionalnim šminkerima koji će biti na raspolaganju učesnicima. Direktor festiva- la Miroslav Lakobrija s ponosom ističe tradiciju ove šetnje koja svake godine okuplja stotine učesnika svih generacija i postaje omiljena porodična zaba- va. Osim toga, Zombi šetnja ima i humanitarni ka- rakter i podržava odeljenje dečje onkologije Institu- ta za onkologiju i radiologiju Srbije. Ako ste ljubitelj fantastičnih svetova i horor pri- ča, Festival srpskog filma fantastike (FSFF) doga- đaj je koji ne smete propustiti! Ovogodišnje 18. iz- danje festivala biće održano od 29. septembra do 1. oktobra u Dvorani Kulturnog centra Beograda i predstavlja pravo mesto okupljanja za sve ljubitelje ovog žanra. Na festivalu se takmiče filmovi iz Srbi- je, regiona i sveta. Program je podeljen u pet selek- cija, a filmovi koji se takmiče za nagradu obrađuju neku od tema fantastike – horor, epska, folklorna, urbana, naučno-fantastična.

If you’re a fan of fantasy worlds and horror stories, the Festival of Serbian Fantastic Film (FSFF) is must-see event! This year’s 18 th edi- tion takes place from 29 th September to 1 st October in the Hall of the Belgrade Cul-

tural Centre and represents the right place for all fans of this genre to gather. The festi- val competition includes films from Serbia, the region and around the world. The pro- gramme is also divided into five selections, with the competing films addressing some themes of fantasy – horror, epic, folklore, ur- ban and science fiction. One of the festival’s most exciting events is the now traditional Zombie Walk, which pro- vides an opportunity to transform yourself into a terrifying zombie, thanks to profes- sional make-up artists who will be at the dis- posal of participants. Festival director Mi- roslav Lakobrija points out proudly that the tradition of this walk, which each year brings together hundreds of participants of all gen- erations, is becoming a favourite fun event for families. The Zombie Walk also has a hu- manitarian character and supports the pae- diatric oncology department of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia.

Ljubitelji muzike i svi oni koji planiraju posetu Beogradu ovog septembra imaju je- dinstvenu priliku da uživaju u zvucima saksofona. Međunarodni festival saksofo- na „Belgrade SAXperience“ biće održan 11. put, od 25. do 27. septembra, u Atri- jumu Narodnog muzeja, Galeriji SANU, UK „Parobrod“ i Zadužbini Ilije M. Kolarca. Ovaj prestižni festival, koji je postao nezaobilazan događaj u kalendaru kulturnih manifestacija u Srbiji, i ove godine će ugostiti neke od najznačajnijih evropskih saksofonista. Poseban deo programa čini „Mini SAXperience“, namenjen budu- ćim profesionalnim saksofonistima i deci. Direktor festivala Milan Savić sa ponosom ističe da je „Belgrade SAXperience“ mnogo više od muzičkog događaja: „Ovaj festival značajno doprinosi afirmaciji saksofonista i razvoju kulturne scene u Srbiji. Beograd se na ovaj način potvrđu- je kao važna destinacija na svetskoj muzičkoj mapi, sa raznovrsnim i kvalitetnim kulturnim sadržajem“. Lovers of music and all those planning to visit Belgrade this September have a unique opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the saxophone. The 11 th edition of the Belgrade SAXperience International Saxophone Festival will take place from 25 th to 27 th Sep- tember in the Atrium of the National Museum, SANU Gallery, Cultural Centre Parobrod and Kolarac Endowment Hall. This prestigious festival, which has become an unavoid- able event on Serbia’s calendar of cultural happenings, will this year once again host some of Europe’s top saxophonists. Representing a special part of the programme is the Mini SAXperience, which is intended for future professional saxophonists and chil- dren. Festival director Milan Savić is proud to point out that Belgrade SAXperience is a lot more than a musical event: “This festival contributes significantly to affirming saxophonists and the development of Serbia’s cultural scene. Belgrade thus con- firms that it is an important destination on the world music map, with diverse and high-quality cultural content.”
