Od terena u beogradskoj Osnovnoj školi „Pavle Savić“, preko sveta i pravac po olimpijsko zlato! Čast nam je da letiš sa nama, kapitenu @bogdanbogdanovic From the court of Belgrade’s Pavle Savić Primary School, around the world and towards Olympic gold! It is an honour to have you flying with us, captain @bogdanbogdanovic
Za sve one koji su se pitali – a gde je Nikola Jokić na letu? Tu je, vratio ga je kapetan Prelević uspešno za Beograd, pravo na doček ispred Skupštine... For all those wondering where Nikola Jokić is on the flight… He’s there, Captain Prelević brought him back to Belgrade successfully, straight to the welcome reception in front of City Hall... THERE ARE PROBABLY NO JO- LLIER FLIGHTS than those that bring Serbian athletes back from major competitions, crowned with glory and decorated with medals. Air Ser- bia has never missed the chance to support Serbia’s competitors, as was the case again at this year’s Pa- ris Olympics. The first to depart for Paris on regular Air Serbia flights were the rowing and boxing teams. Soaring skywards next, also bound for the “City of Lights”, were Olympic sho- oting team members, then men’s and women’s volleyball squads, followed by the judo, table tennis, tennis and swimming squads. A charter flight from Belgrade to Li- lle for the men’s and women’s ba- sketball squads was organised on 24 th July, after which planes of Ser- bia’s national airline took off carrying our Olympic water polo, basketball, athletics, cycling, wrestling, kayaking and taekwondo teams and com- petitors. And if the prevailing feelings were then uncertainty, expectations and excitement ahead of facing the unknown, the atmosphere aboard the planes that brought our athle- tes back was joyful, with sweetne- ss from cakes. Air Serbia’s captains first brought home the bronze me- dal winning basketball squad, but then came 12 th August’s flight JU241,

which, despite being registered as a scheduled flight, was anything but regular and ordinary. The plane was probably half a ton heavier with gold and a little silver, because the pa- ssengers were sporting medals – the world’s best water polo players, the gold shooting tandem of Zorana and Mikec, plus silver medalist Alek- sandra Perišić, who came second at the Olympics in her taekwondo ca- tegory. But that flight will also remain re- membered for the fact that the pla- ne was commanded by two ladies: captain Vesna Aleksić and first offi- cer Dina Milovanović! Air Serbia sha- red a little of the atmosphere from that flight on social media, and smi- ling athletes, a cake with Olympic rings and the inscription “congratu- lations” are just a few of the images that you can also enjoy. Interestingly, captain Aleksić was the first female pilot to don the uniform of the Serbian national airli- ne, back in 2016, while she also he- aded the first all-female crew in the history of Serbian aviation, also on a flight to Paris in May 2017.
Ovaj let iz Pariza bi se mogao nazvati – olimpijsko blago. Sjajna Aleksandra Perišić sa Zoranom Arunović, Damirom Mikecom i posadom This flight from Paris could be dubbed ‘Olympic treasure’. The wonderful Aleksandra Perišić, with Zorana Arunović, Damir Mikec and the crew
