CAVE HILL CAMPUS •
Cave Hill Launches 60 th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Launched with an interfaith service and followed by a campus-wide parade, the activities to celebrate Cave Hill’s 60 th anniversary got off to a rousing start. The milestone year includes a blue-ribbon Legacy Lecture Series themed “Building Resilience, Building Nations”, and featured a lineup of UWI scholars and thought leaders from across various disciplines. Monthly parish hikes and frequent bus tours took eager participants on heritage focused trails across Barbados. Early childhood literacy is also being addressed with a reading programme in collaboration with the Barbados National Library Service and the charity Kids in Action. Additional community engagement and environmental activities, such as beach clean-ups, are scheduled for the remainder of the year.

World-class Support for Students UWI students are set to benefit from a strategic partnership with Deloitte & Touche, which underpins the provision of scholarships and programmes to enhance their workforce readiness. The “World Class Initiative” is part of the company’s social responsibility programme.
