Launch of MBA in General Management The Board of Graduate Studies and Research, at its May 18, 2023 meeting, approved the introduction of the Master of Business Administration programme (blended mode) for introduction in September 2023. The programme is designed to help managers develop a global perspective while honing their skills in Communicating, influencing, and managing conflict. Rebranding from Open to Global Following the University Council’s approval to rebrand The UWI Open Campus to The UWI Global Campus, the Campus commenced the plans for the rollout of the rebranding exercise in January 2023. A Global Campus Rebranding and Renaming Committee (RRC) was formed to manage the exercise at the Campus level and to engage with the University Director of Marketing and Communications to plan and guide the process. The Committee, among other things, developed a framework of actions and strategies to communicate with the various stakeholders to create the awareness, sensitisation, change management and visibility required for the Global Campus. On August 1, 2023, the Campus was rebranded as The UWI Global Campus and incremental changes are underway to ensure that the new Global Campus brand is fully operationalised by January 2024.
