To improve food and beverage services at the Islands, we want to make breakfast, lunch and drinks available to everyone. Mike has changed the hours for the Islands snack bar, it’s now open Tuesday through Sunday. Also, we have just re-opened the Oaks snack bar (tennis/pool area). This is a perfect spot to get a breakfast sandwich before golf or a salad after tennis. As many of you are aware, our facilities have been neglected for several years. We are working with Mike to allocate funds to start making the needed changes. At this point, new furniture has been ordered for the foyer, bar stools for the dining areas, and new furniture at the pool near the tennis courts is in place. In light of the popularity of pickle ball, we have added pickle ball courts and they are open for play.

Fellow Seven Oaks C.C. Members,

Greetings to all as the hot days of summer leave us and we look forward to the cooler days of fall. I want to take the opportunity to let everyone know what the Board has been working on. We’ve seen much change this year at Seven Oaks and one important change occurred in Senior Management. I hope everyone has had a chance to meet Mike Stanton, our new GM/COO. Mike has brought excitement and new ideas to the Club. As one long-time member of the Club told me, “I feel more excit- ed about the Club’s future than I have in 20 years.” Mike was very instrumental in the success of his former club. He was able to improve service and food quality among other things and by spurring member growth, that club was able to make needed improvements. Which resulted in a two-year waiting list for potential members. We are so pleased to have Mike working on those very things here. Our goal is make Seven Oaks a 5 Star Club. Mike has recently added Executive Chef Paul Burzlaff and assistant golf professional Denise Bondurant to the Pro Shop. I hope you’ve all welcomed Chef Paul, and Denise to our club. Mike is currently looking for a new Club House Manager.
