Redington grows company from 4 to 47 employees REDCOM Design & Construction LLC founded by Jim Redington as REDCO
EDCOM Design & Con- struction LLC is a sec- ond-generation general contracting company equipped with in-house professionals experienced in architectural de- sign, civil engineering, construc- tion, and land development. Be- fore becoming one of the leading car dealership builders in New Jersey, REDCOM started out with a man, a lot of persistence, and a vision. Before it was known as RED- COM, Jim Redington, the first- generation owner, founded the company as REDCO Engi- neering & Construction Corp. in 1982. REDCO began its work building car dealerships throughout the state of New Jersey, starting with its first project Autosport Honda in Bridgewater. The team reno- vated a building on Route 22 into a state-of-the-art Honda dealership. Redington’s per- severance with winning this project not only broke REDCO into the car dealership industry but also sparked the company’s reputation for repeat business with its past clients. Redington officially became the second president of REDCO En- gineering & Construction Corp. has even expanded its services further to offer small project management, maintenance, and land development in the last year. Over the past 39 years, the firm has done work for notable auto dealers across New Jersey, including Ray Catena, Roger Penske, and BRAMAuto Group.
