P ennsylvania Organization adds top local producers

Grace, CCIM, SIOR acquires Landmark Commercial Realty

C

has been SVP at the firm for over 20 years and was the top deal producer for the last decade since joining the firm after graduating with a master’s degree in corporate real estate from Carey Busi- ness School at Johns Hopkins University. Under Grace’s executive leadership the fresh faces will include industry veter- ans Michael Curran , serv- ing as president & executive managing director of the new organization and Justin Shoemaker as executive vice president. Curran, who

started his career at Land- mark, most recently served as first vice president at global corporate real estate services provider CBRE specializing in office properties for nearly 15 years while Shoemaker was EVP at JC Bar Properties and has led their retail brokerage division with over 20 years of commercial brokerage expe- rience that included time at NAI Commercial Industrial Realty, Inc. In addition, Grace has im- mediately moved to internally promote Barb Murdocca as chief operating officer who

was previously with the firm in a director of operations role while Chuck Heller will also become executive vice presi- dent. Heller has been with the firm for over 20 years and serves primarily the invest- ment & multi-family sector. “On each marketing agency & tenant rep assignment, our clients will be sure to have the best team of agents with significant deal experience in that sector which will result in first class service” added Grace. “It’s not exactly a groundbreaking strategy but in a fee-based business model

is a fundamental change to organizational principles and requires the right quality of agent for total buy in.” Indus t ry ve t erans and top market producers Tom Posavec, SIOR and SVP, Roy Brenner , VP, Drew Bobin - check , VP, Andy Kohr & Bo Mangam will continue serving in their roles while servicing their long list of existing client relationships while Dave Rem - mel, P.E. SIOR will become an associate broker following the transition. Posavec has been with the firm since its inception in 1988 and was instrumental in establishing the firm’s cur- rent status as a market leader. Grace plans to build on that foundation as he works with his newly expanded team to imme- diately push to increase market share, recruit agent talent and expand the client resources platform at the new company. Some of these services will eventually include advisory & consulting, asset strategy & repositioning, portfolio analy- sis, property cost segregation for tax management, equity syndication & sourcing as well as property management. This core veteran team will be supported by what Grace describes as maybe the most important element to grow- ing the operation over the next few decades, the tal- ented team of young junior brokers that he’s cultivat- ing which currently includes Sean Fitzsimmons, Nick Sallack, Dan Dutcavich & recently hired Andrew Ford . This group will play an integral marketing & transac- tional support role for the new producer teams Grace has as- sembled which will allow the new Landmark organization to provide a sector specialty team approach to serving its clients better than the com- petition whether its office, retail, multi-family, land, investment, flex or industrial. Fitzsimmons has quickly risen to the challenge and is experiencing phenomenal year over year production growth while Sallack has over a decade of experience leading a brokerage team at Avison Young in Northern VA/DC Metro market and has shown a keen skill set in creative marketing solutions. Dutcav- ich & Ford will be invaluable assets in their operational support of some firm’s largest producers. MAREJ
