ALISBURY, MD — Henry Hanna, CCIM, SIOR, Tom Knopp, and Chris Peek of SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate listed and sold the 25+ acre lot just off S. Division St. in Salisbury. Hanna and Peek listed the property and Knopp represented the buyer in this deal. The three worked diligently and efficiently to meet the goal of the seller and secure the investment for the buyer. The lot, known as University Orchard-Phase 2, is located at the corner of S. Division St,& Farmers Market Lane and just ½mile from Salisbury Univer- sity Main Campus. The loca- tion was originally intended to be the second phase of student housing development “The Orchard.” The buyer intends to build townhomes on the lot, though it is undecided if these will be solely for student housing. Seller- Bill Hearne said, “I wanted this property sold and settled in 2020 and I knew if anyone could get this job done, Henry Hanna could.” Henry Hanna says, "We used the SVN National Network to expose this property to out of state investors and found a qualified buyer that settled before year end.”
