1. Where did you grow up? I grew up in Coopersburg, PA. 2. Where did you attend school for your DPT? I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Lebanon Valley College in 2016 3. Why did you decide to become a Physical Therapist? I’ve always been interested in medicine and was introduced to physical therapy after a basketball injury. I was fascinated by the various ways the body can heal and be treated through exercise. Seeing patients on a regular basis and getting to know who they are immediately drew me in and there was no looking back! 4. What does patient-centered treatment mean to you? Patient centered treatment is the unique opportunity a physical therapist has to really get to know their patient and address their specific goals. The more time I spend with a patient the more I learn exactly what activities they want to return too, and can create a tailored treatment program to reach their unique goals. 5. What is your favorite patient experience? By far, my favorite experience is when I can see the joy and excitement in a patient’s life when they get back to what they love. Whether it’s holding their grandbaby again, returning to morning walks with their dog, or getting back to a fun hobby. Seeing a patient’s joy when they meet their primary goal is my favorite.
