During my PGCE we have had extremely useful days on campus where we could practise laboratory skills and discuss our experiences of placement. We had PAT days once a week where we were able to learn more about different teaching methods. Swansea University has amazing tutors and Welsh tutors who helped to develop my Welsh-speaking skills enabling me to complete my PGCE course through the medium of Welsh medium and successfully gain a job in a Welsh Medium school. Studying my PGCE year at Swansea was an incredible experience that has excelled my personal development and equipped me with the skills and passion to teach.
