Learning Services These services exist to provide programs to assist students in becoming effective and intentional learners in order that they may meet the academic demands of the University. Programs include individual and group tutoring, instructional computerized programs to aid in development of study skills and a non-credit study skills course. Tutoring services are available for a modest fee. Also available is information and computerized study material for graduate exams. Inquiries should be made in Career and Learning Assistance Services, located behind the Student Health Center Building. DISCIPLINE Biola University is dedicated to the training of people who are sincere and earnest in their desire to live for Jesus Christ. Because this is true, students are expected to give evidence of conduct consistent with such a profession. The disciplined life is consistent with the biblical model for a Christian. By enrolling in the University, each student is enter ing into an agreement with Biola to be responsible for certain details of activity and conduct. This agreement is explained in a "Statement of Rights and Responsibilities" which every prospective student receives as a part of the admissions process. Students whose attitudes prove to be uncooperative may be asked to withdraw from the University.
