These per sons bring to their tasks a rich variety of academic and other professional expertise, and thus serve to enrich the curricular offerings, particularly in some of the more specialized areas. The Charles Lee Feinberg Award - Given to the Senior who best exemplifies the image of a student at Talbot School of Theology. The William W. Bass Memorial Scholarship Award - Given to a second or third year student who has demonstrated a keen interest in Phiiosophy of Religion and/or Theology The Inez Gooden Memorial Scholarship Award - Given to a seminary student with financial need. The Gordon Johnson Scholarship Award - Given to a seminary student performing well aca demically in one of the Bible related fields. The Walker Scholarship Award - To a semi nary student with special interest and ability in the area of outreach, established by the Interna tional Fisherman's Club. The Grateful Award - Granted to an outstand ing senior preacher having financial need, given by the Diamond Bar Evangelical Free Church. The Baker Book Award in Christian Education - Given to the graduate who has distinguished himself in the study of theology. The American Bible Society Award - Given to the student who has distinguished himself in meaningful and interpretive public reading of the Scriptures. The Louis T. Talbot Memorial Scholarship Award- The Rotary Club Scholarship Award -
The awards that follow are presented annually to qualified students on the basis of criteria indicat ed. The Louis T. Talbot Award - To a student in the seminary whose concern and zeal, in theory and practice, are outstanding in the area of the evangelization of the Jews. The Audrey Talbot Award in Bible Exposition - To the student in the seminary who does the best work for the year in the Department of Bible Exposition. The William W. Bass Award - To a student in the seminary whose concern and zeal , theoreti cally and practically, are exemplary in the interest of the evangelization of the Jews. The John and Jennie Solomon Award in Old Testament- To the student in the seminary who does the best work for the year in the Department of Semitics and Old Testament. The Library Award - To the student completing a thesis or thesis project who, in the opinion of the Librarian, has made the most intelligent and effective use of the Library during the year of his or her graduation. The Robert N. Oliver Award in Systematic The ology - To the student with the best work for the year in the Department of Systematic Theology. The Award in Homiletics - An annual award to 3 students in the seminary who distinguish them selves in preaching. The Kenneth D. Archinal Award in Christian Education - An annual award to the outstand ing second year student in the Department of Christian Education. The Award in New Testament - To the student who has done outstanding work in New Testament studies throughout the seminary program. The Rev. & Mrs. David Doerksen Award in Missions - To the student in the seminary who does the best work for the year in the Department of Missions. The Marge Niquette Award in Bible Exposition - An annual award to the student in the semi nary who has done outstanding work in the De partment of Bible Exposition in the final year of training. The Alumni Award - Given to a cont inuing student in the seminary by the Alumni Associ ation. The Ministry Associates Award - To an out standing graduate completing the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Ministry program.
