Career counseling, interest testing, job search seminars and career days ore some of the offered programs which help students learn about their interests and skills which will aid in the job-hunting process. The office hos anumber of resource materials available to students including information on current occupational opportunities and internships. Maintaining credential files is another aspect of the career function designed to aid students in securing a job or admission to a graduate school. In addition, information and counsel are available to students interested in pursuing graduate education Inquiries concerning these services should be mode to the counseling services office, located in Sutherland 112 DISCIPLINE Biol □ University is dedicated to the training of people who are sincere and earnest in their desire to live for Jesus Christ. Because this 1s true, students are expected to give evidence of conduct consistent with such a profession. The disciplined life is consistent with the biblical model for a Christion. By enrolling in the university each student is entering into on agreement with Biol □ to be responsible for certain details of activity and conduct. This agreement 1s explained in a "Statement of Rights and Responsibilities" which every prospective student receives as a part of the admissions process. Students whose attitudes prove to be uncooperative may be asked to withdraw from the university.

Personal counseling services are ovailoble to interested graduate and undergrad­ uate students for a modest administrative fee. Individual counseling, group counseling, pre-engagement, premarital and marital counseling are available during the school year and summer months. Groups for special needs, workshops ond seminars are held throughout the year. Inquiries should be mode in Sutherland Holl, room 112. THE LEARNING SKILLS CENTER The Learning Skills Center provides programs to help undergraduates and graduate students develop their reading, writing and study skills in order that they may meet the academic demands of the university and benefit fully from their educational experience. Learning Skills Center programs include private tutoring, a full semester, non-credit course and seminars on topics related to success in school work. In addition, staff members ore available to work with students individually. Tutoring services are available for amodest fee, while all other services ore free. Inquiries should be mode to the counseling services office, located in Sutherland Holl, room 112. CAREER DEVELOPMENTAND GRADUATE PLACEMENT The purpose of the career center at Biol □ University 1s to assist current undergraduate and graduate students in the choice and development of a career.
