ADMINISTRATION (3) An investigation into the organization and supervision of a complete church music program for the local church. Particular emphasis is given to a study of leadership qualities. 631/632 PRACT ICUM (2, 2) Two semesters of supervised field work in a local church involvi ng a minimum of five hours a week, as wel l as seminars to dis­ cuss the student's progress. A written re­ port is required at the end of each semes­ ter. During the second semester a fest ival service is required which is to be com­ pletely planned, organized and conducted by the student. This service is to involve congregation, choir and inst ruments, and one other media. 650 FINAL PROJECT (0) A formal paper stating the student's per­ sonal philosophy of church music and an oral examination covering the following topics: worship, church music history and church music administration.
