ADMINISTRATION (3) An investigation into the organization and supervision of a complete church music program for the local church. Particular emphasis is given to a study of leadership qualities. 631/632 PRACT ICUM (2, 2) Two semesters of supervised field work in a local church involvi ng a minimum of five hours a week, as wel l as seminars to dis cuss the student's progress. A written re port is required at the end of each semes ter. During the second semester a fest ival service is required which is to be com pletely planned, organized and conducted by the student. This service is to involve congregation, choir and inst ruments, and one other media. 650 FINAL PROJECT (0) A formal paper stating the student's per sonal philosophy of church music and an oral examination covering the following topics: worship, church music history and church music administration.
