God’s Blessing on Faithful Sowing For more than a year we have had the great privilege of holding meetings during the noon hour in several laun dries and factories throughout the city. With an attendance WORK OF all the way from BIBLE WOMEN twenty-five to two MRS. T. C. HOR- hundred, represent- TON, Supt. ing many nations and creeds. We- have noticed with gratitude the marked change in attitudes during this time, from indifference, and even scorn in some, to interest, cooperation, and on the part of some, who knew not Jesus as their Saviour, inquiry and surrender of their lives. One young woman, who gave herself to the Master, was instrumental in starting two prayer-meetings a week where she worked. Her home was a broken one^ but through the help of a “ Camp Pastor” her husband was located and reconciled. Another, who had severed all rela tionships with church, as she expressed it, “ Forever,” gave herself to the Mas ter and is rendering valuable service. To many this is the only Church they have, and they called our meetings “ Church,” several expressing regret when they have to be away the noon we are there. These are only samples of many cases, lives touched by the Holy Spirit’s power for which we prais'e God. A young woman, who had become entangled in Seventh Day Adventism, was so miserable and unhappy that she had not looked into her Bible for weeks, everything was so confused in lier mind. A worker called one day and was not received very graciously, but a question or two revealed her state

and the worker said, “ Might we look into the Word of God together a few moments?” She consented reluctantly. The result was that she came glor iously into the light and freedom of the truth and powerful in testimony. Now when she hears of any one getting into a false ism, she says, “ I cannot get to them quick enough, I was in darkness myself and that dear woman so pati ent with me, when I treated her so coldly at my own door!” A very indifferent woman was urged by her neighbor to attend a neighbor hood Bible class until she finally became much interested and accepted the Lord as her Saviour. Her husband was a Catholic and did not like her to attend church, but she could attend the Bible class and she is praising the Lord for it, as it is the only touch she has with the Word, that has opened up so wonderfully to her this year. One testified that the Word was such a vital, living thing in her life this year that she was able to go rejoicing through the one thing that had come into her life she had always felt she could not endure. Tent Meetings at Butte City, Calif. Evangelist Wm. P. Nicholson has closed a month’s revival in Glenn Co., Calif., which has stirred the com munities participating as nothing ever has in their religious Nicholson history. Five rural com- Revlval munities joined together Meetings pitching a tent in a cen tral location, and here the crowds assembled until at times the tent was full to overflowing. It is said that salvation by grace has been little
