1056 mother a Gentile and years ago I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour but for a long time I have not been living as I should. Your conversation has stirred within me the impulse to make a new start again and from today on, I mean to live a better Christian life than I have been doing.” How wonder ful are the providences of God who brought those four people together that day and made “ all things work together for good.” What Came of a Tract “ In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand; for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall WORK AMONG be alike good.” SPANISH PEOPLE The following in- R. H. Bender, Supt. cidents will prove the truth of this Scripture. Calling one evening from house to house, we gave the usual greet ing to the man who opened the door, to which he replied, “ I am well, praise the Lord.” At first it did seem strange to have such a favorable reply and it was blessed to find out later that it was not simply from the lips, but proceeded from the heart. After a little conversa tion concerning the “ Way of Life,” he said, “Wait a minute,” and going into his room brought a tract and showed me a paragraph which contained just such a statement as to the necessity of confessing Christ, as we had made to him. We asked if he had done this, and he said, “ Yes,” then we asked, “ Do you believe you are saved, and that your sins are forgiven,” and he said “ Yes.” Then we inquired where he obtained the tract and he said that we had given it to him at Arcadia several months before. “ Praise God!” . How God Hlonors His Word Everywhere we go we .can find men and women who are willing to talk about their souls and about Jesus, the only One who can save from sin. Eldredge, Supt. streets, the work er was led to take one of the cards handed him by a real estate man, and then to ask how many of his cards returned to him void, to which he replied, “ My! a great many of them.” This gave the desired opening, so the worker handed him a tract filled with God’s Word, saying, “ Sir, here is something that will never return void,” and in a few words we were able to tell him of a Saviour who could save from sin.
