Joseph was not ashamed to confess the people to whom he belonged, even though he had reached such a high station. Neither was he ashamed to present his brethren, as his brothers, to Pharaoh. We read in the New Testament that our Lord Jesus is not ashamed to call us His brethren. Heb. 2:11. And that God is not ashamed to be called our God. Heb. 11:16. Joseph also put high honor upon his brethren by presenting them personally
