SEPTEMBER JTNZ VOL.III | BAM SOUTH

“I hope that even if people don’t know our name, they think, ‘That’s a really well-made door. That’s a really lovely cabinet,’” she says. “These are the pieces you touch every day. They’re kind of unseen forces in a house - but they shape how people live.”

She smiles thinking of the life that will unfold around their work.

“I think about the families who will have dinner parties or cook nightly meals using our cabinetry,” she says. “These pieces will just quietly be there for a while. That’s so lovely to me - that they get to be this beautiful feature of a home, constantly used.” Then her voice softens. “It’s art in a different way,” she says. “Incredibly useful and crafted. I feel really lucky that we get to create art in that way.”
