Wild Abundance’s roots stretch back 15 years to the vision of its founder, Natalie Bogwalker. Before launching the school, Bogwalker created the Firefly Gathering, a five-day midsummer convergence of earth skills instructors teaching hide tanning, flint knapping, bow making, and other ancestral crafts. “She started it just to bring her friends together - people who were skilled the way she’s skilled,” Gaia recalls. “And then she realized once a year was not enough. There were craft schools out there, but nothing that did exactly this. She was taking her passions and the things her friends liked to do and turned it into a school.” From Gathering to Groundswell
“We’re still guided by a deep care for the earth, and a deep care for uplifting skills that are being forgotten” —Gaia Goldhill | CEO Wild Abundance
