Spirt of '76, Alpine's Vintage Independence Day BASH

WHAT: July 4th Celebration Plan at Brewster County Courthouse, Alpine, Texas Event Overview:

A day-long celebration of Independence Day featuring a parade, live music, traditional food booths, family- friendly activities, and a fireworks display and band performance to end the evening. The event will honor the spirit of 1976 by incorporating conventional American and local Texan elements.

WHERE: East Sul Ross Avenue, Brewster County Courthouse / American Legion, Kokernot Field & Kokernot Park.

MORNING ACTIVITIES: 9:30-12

Opening Ceremony: Start with the national anthem and a brief speech by a local dignitary at the courthouse steps.

Parade: Featuring local bands, vintage cars, floats by local businesses and organizations, and a special section to commemorate 1976, including participants in period attire.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM):

Brewster County Court House Lawn Tri County Business / non Profit: $75 Outside Tri County Business: / Non-profits $175 Non Compete . Booths are asssigned first come first serve.

FOOD BOOTHS:: A variety of booths offering traditional Fourth of July foods and local specialties, including: Enchiladas Brisket Burritos

Hot Dogs and Hamburgers Ice Cream and Snow Cones Lemonade Funnel Cake Homemade Ice Cream & Cupcakes

ACTIVITY BOOTHS: Engage the community with booths like:

Sweet Bingo - Bingo game where sweets and cakes are the reward Dunking Booth - Local celebrities and officials take turns getting dunked for charity. Cake Walk - Participants circle on numbered squares while music plays. When the music stops, a number

is called out, and the person standing on that number wins a cake. Fishing Booth - A kid-friendly booth where children can "fish" for prizes. Craft Booths- Activities for making patriotic crafts. Face Painting- Photo Booth- Patriotic & West Texas Props
