or 3) the student plans to extend the program beyond three years. ·
MODERN CHURCH HISTORY: Those transferring CH 506 from another seminary must take CH 710 to obtain denominational distinctives unless this requirement has already been met. THESIS COURSE SEQUENCE: Thesis First Draft will be taken at the comple tion of 64 units and Thesis Final Draft at the completion of 80 units. Neither is applicable toward graduation unless both have been completed. BIBLE EXPOSITION ALTERNATIVE: For one of the three required Bible Exposition courses (excluding BE 505) the student may substitute four units of Greek or Hebrew exegesis electives.
GREEK: NT 505 (fall) and NT 506 (spring) (four units each) are required beyond beginning Greek. A qualifying examination is available to all interested students. Those who pass the examina tion may enroll directly in NT 505, and the rest must take NT 50 l and NT 502 (two units each) as a prerequisite to NT 505. HEBREW: OT 603 (fall) and OT 604 (spring) (four units each) are required. A qualifying examination is available to interested students. Those who pass the examination may take OT 604, plus four units of Hebrew electives instead of OT 603. For students who major in Christian education, the final four units of one language may be replaced by electives if desired. continued 107
