During my search for a placement, the employability team provided me with countless support from trying to identify the Industry or roles that could interest me to CV checks and improvements. One of the most rewarding things about my internship at Google was the people I got to meet. These are people from different walks of life, experience and cultures that are brought together under a shared passion and commitment. So, I learned a lot from my peers and other Googlers. This was an incredible learning experience.
CANISHA CHAKADYA Business Management, BSc (Hons)
I found the UK educational system to be mentally stimulating as it encourages creativity and independent learning. I am grateful to Swansea University for providing me with the ideal platform, resources and assistance to achieve my fundamental career objective, a 1st Class Honors Degree! The Student Ambassador role that I took on during the course of my degree appealed to employers as it indicated one’s ability to learn, adapt and represent an organisation.
LEONARD SAVIO Business Management (Finance), BSc (Hons)
I do not know other universities that support students with placements and graduate jobs like ours. The Employability Team put in hours of work to help students through everything, ranging from your first CV to securing a graduate job. Some of the skills I developed during my placement at Enterprise Holdings include negotiation, organisation, resilience and communication – to name a few! The skills I have learnt have completely changed me as a person and have contributed greatly to my confidence.
