• Self-amalgamating ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) “welds” itself chemically and mechanically to form a watertight skin • Resists abrasion, impact, sunlight, ozone and most chemicals • Requires no heat or flame • Temperature Range: -40°C to 100°C and 130°C intermittently • Dielectric Strength: 36 KV/mm Uses Automotive: Insulate battery terminal ends and starter ends to prevent shorting and corrosion. Strip back film and stretch tape to reduce its width by between 1/3 or 1/2. 2. Keep tape under tension and wrap, overlapping each wrap by 50% until desired buildup of insulation is achieved. 3. Finish wrapping by holding the tape under thumb and snap by stretching.
