INTRODUCING GREEN GOLD

THE NEW GOLD STANDARD

Malcolm Roy Paterson - CEO

The RECYN™ Process achieves significant nett revenue for most tailings treatments: • Recovered cyanide is less than 50% of the cost of new cyanide. • There is no expensive detox processes. The development, application, and resulting benefits of the RECYN™ Process are briefly described in this brochure. A pro forma data sheet is provided. This will provide us with enough information to make an initial assessment of the expected performance and economics of any proposed RECYN™ application. The RECYN Process is implemented by PT Green Gold Engineering (GGE) under an exclusive licence arrange- ment. GGE is an Indonesian based company with full in-house capability in both design and construction. In addition to the RECYN™ Process , GGE provides complementary services for gold ore processing including: • THE GOLD ROOM - New developments in carbon processing • INQUIP - Process equipment supply • GEOMETLAB - Metallurgical laboratory services These additional services serve to enhance the full application of the RECYN™ Process within the gold/ silver recovery circuit.

As gold mining companies implement new projects or simply strive to remain economically feasible, reducing both capital and operating costs is more urgent than ever: Options for cost reduction are limited; and higher environmental standards put more pressure on the bottom line. New technologies offer a chance for improved econom- ics; but they can be either too expensive, or have not been proven to be commercially effective. GREEN GOLD will help you reduce capital and operat- ing costs for new or existing gold projects, while improving environmental standards with commercially proven processes. The core technology, called the RECYN™ Process , uses a resin based process with a proven method for the complete and efficient removal and recovery of cyanide, dissolved base metals, and precious metals from gold plant process streams Commonly used tailings treatment processes for the destruction or recovery of cyanide, include natural degradation, CCD thickeners, and various chemical destruction methods. These processes have both cost and performance disadvantages.

"THE RECYN™ PROCESS " is the name given to a specialist technology which has been developed for the recovery of cyanide and dissolved metals from precious metal plant process streams. The process is based on the use of a function- alized resin bead, pretreated to allow the dual duty of recover- ing free and complexed cyanide ions from solution with a high degree of efficiency. It is equally applicable to slurries and solu- tions; and it is technically and economically superior to all other processes currently available for the detoxification of gold plant tailings. WHAT IS THE RECYN™ PROCESS?

“A RESIN BASED TECHNOLOGY THAT

ECONOMICALLY RECYCLES CYANIDE FROM GOLD PLANT TAILINGS, AND DETOXIFIES THE DISCHARGE TO ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPLIANT STANDARDS.”

APPLICATION GREEN GOLD TECHNOLOGY

The RECYN™ PROCESS has been proven commercially effective in:

• Precious Metal Recovery • Base Metal Recovery • Cyanide Recovery.

The RECYN™ Process recovers almost all free and complexed cyanides and metals directly from either tailings slurry or solutions.

FLOWSHEET

Directly following the CIL circuit the slurry flows through several stages of adsorption contactors. The resin stream is pumped countercurrent to the slurry flow to maximise resin loadings and minimise tails values. Loaded resin is transferred either as a batch or continuously to the elution section of the plant. Metal elution and cyanide elution occur in separate columns at ambient temperature. Stripped resin is returned to the final adsorption stage. The relative flows of loaded resin to the metal or cyanide recovery sections depends on the CIL tailings solution cyanide and metal levels. Metal recovery typically involves either electrowinning to remove gold or precipitation to remove copper and other metals. Cyanide recovery involves volatilization and scrubbing to form a concentrated cyanide solution that can be returned directly to the leach circuit. The detoxified slurry is discharged to the tailings dam.

THE RECYN™PROCESS TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC SUPERIORITY:

HIGH EFFICIENCY High recovery efficiencies of free and metal complexed cyanides, toxic metals, and precious metals. RESISTANCE TO POISONING Investigations have shown the resin to be barely affected by organic foulants or inorganic poisons, even after long term usage. LOW ABRASION LOSSES Operations have shown that the mechanical strength of the resin results in low abrasion losses; an order of magnitude lower than carbon. STABLE OPERATION Temperature variations and the presence of slurry solids have negligible effect on performance. SIMPLE ELUTION The resin can be effectively eluted at ambient temperatures and at atmospheric pressure. Elevated temperature and pressure vessels are not required. EASE OF HANDLING The close sizing and regular shape of the resin beads assist selection of screens and reproducible screening performance. ECONOMIC CYANIDE RECOVERY Recovered cyanide costs 50% less than new cyanide; and the process eliminates detox requirement. IMPROVED METAL RECOVERY The lower cost of cyanide recycle allows higher cyanide levels to be kept in the leach circuit thereby potentially increasing silver recovery.

PROVING THE TECHNOLOGY

The steps used in The RECYN™Process have been developed through extensive research and develop- ment programs over a 30 year period. A combination of laboratory testwork and continuous pilot trials has provided detailed knowledge of the resin's capabilities and performance over a wide range of ore types. Commercially, the technology is proving itself effective on the job: Currently, an integrated full scale opera- tion at the Mirah gold/silver project in Indonesia has demonstrated the commercial viability of the technology. A second larger Recyn plant is being constructed at the Mt. Muro project LABORATORY TESTWORK The following table shows typical results from testing a gold plant slurry containing soluble copper. Many ore types have been tested.

PILOT PLANT

A number of continuous pilot plant campaigns have been completed in Australia and North America applying the process directly to effluent streams of operating gold mines.

Two pilot plants were used, each with a capacity of 10m3/day of pulp or solution. The plants were designed toclosely represent the flowsheets of industrial operations. Features of the plants include:

Multi-stage contactors Counter current flow of resin and slurry Staged elution of loaded resin for metals and cyanide Cyanide recovery system.

Each campaign demonstrated the resin’s high efficiency in recovering cyanide and metals. Typical pilot plant results are shown in Table 2 below.

SUCCESSFULLY APPLIED

COMMERCIAL OPERATION

The RECYN™ PROCESS has been successfully implemented at a commercial CIL operation in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia for more than two years. The resin plant treats slurry from the CIL plant in a four stage reactor circuit. The recycle circuit is particularly beneficial due to the high cyanide levels (+1000ppm CN) required to ensure good silver recovery. Since commissioning the resin plant in May 2015 no additional detox has been required to meet compliance levels and an average of 1t/day of NaCN is recycled directly to the leach plant.
