All of our Tempa•DOT® thermometers are 100% hygienic and hypoallergenic. And they are manufactured in our FDA and ISO Certified facilities, in a controlled and regulated environment, to ensure their safety. product options We offer Tempa•DOT® thermometers in our standard version, as well as two additional product variations: Tempa•DOT® Sterile, which is the same highly accurate oral/axillary thermometer, that has also been sterilized for instances where infection control is of critical importance; and Tempa•DOT® Plus, which are specifically designed for rectal temperature monitoring. safety & reliability To ensure their safety, we test all of our thermometers utilizing sterility or bioburden testing. The sterility rate on our sterilized thermometers is 0, while the bioburden rate on our nstandard thermometers is <1CFU - meaning that our standard thermometers have a population of less than one viable microorganism.
