Blue Cards Merit badge “Blue Cards” are not needed or utilized at K-M. At the end of your week, unit leaders will receive merit badge reports indicating partials and completions. Blue cards can also be printed via your online registration once counselors have entered completion information. Scoutingevent.com offers a variety of reports including merit badge records and a file to download directly into
your unit’s Scoutbook account. Additional Programs Additional Open Program Areas
Monday-Thursday after merit badges end, Scouts will have an opportunity to explore our camp and program areas. Scouts can swim, boat or fish in Taylor Lake, shoot rifle, archery or shotgun, mountain bike, climb our tower, or participate in several other activities around camp. No pre-sign-up is needed for these “free time” activities. Evening Program Evening program includes a camp-wide offering and a rotation of open program areas. A schedule will be provided at the SPL/Leader’s meeting each week. Open program areas will include shooting sports, aquatics, and climbing. Scouts have the opportunity to participate in the activities available in these areas during open program time during evening program. Friday Program Program on Friday at K-M looks different than every other day. Friday morning camp program will be held at our on-sit Kendall town site. Scouts will participate in games and activities while exploring this unique part of K-M’s rich history. Friday afternoon is reserved for merit badge make-up time. All program areas will be open for Scouts to finish any outstanding merit badge requirements.
