ENNISKILLEN WORKHOUSE ENTRANCE BLOCK
FLAT ROOF SYSTEM
C S Coatings was contracted to install a flat roofing system to part of the Enniskillen Workhouse Entrance Block as part of QMAC Construction’s renovation and conservation project. Cameron Stewart, Managing Director, CS Coatings said, “Working off the architect’s plans, we designed and installed a PVC single ply roofing membrane system called Armourplan, manufactured by IKO.” Single ply roofing systems have become a popular choice for specifiers in the last 30 years. Guaranteed to last up to 25 years, this system is cold applied, i.e. no naked flame or heat is used, and subsequently reduces any risk to the building or personnel within. Established in 2008, CS Coatings is a contracting company that specialises in liquid-applied flat roofing systems, protective coatings for tank bunds, concrete and steelwork, and works for
a wide range of clientele across the UK and Ireland. Commenting on the completed project, Cameron said he was proud to have worked alongside QMAC to help restore such an historic building.

Block project. Regular orders of various grades of crushed rock, type 3, blinding, 10 and 20mm gravel, washed concrete sand, building and plastering sand, and concrete mix were delivered onsite for the building and groundworks, as and when they were needed.
