Devlin Mechanical provided input into the design of the rooftop plant room and worked in tandem with the design team to prepare a buildable solution. Autodesk Revit 3D modelling design software was used to draw out the plant spaces with services installed to ensure everything would fit in the space available. This allowed Devlin to prefabricate components off site. Hugh Scullion, Quantity Surveyor for Devlin Mechanical commented, “This project was a great success. It demonstrates not only the abilities of Devlin Mechanical, but those of our sub-contractors, to install a wide range of intricate mechanical systems. We continue to work across all NI Health Trusts carrying out a variety of complex projects to a high standard.”
