Akshaya Iyer’s construction career began in her home coun - try of India before she moved to the United States and earned her graduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. At the age of 27, Akshaya co-founded Peritia Partners, a construction consulting firm with experts who have advised over $130 billion in projects in construc- tion management, project controls, and construction dispute resolution. She has more than 10 years of experience in construction management, project scheduling and serving as an expert witness during construction litigation across private and government sectors – advising over a billion dollars in projects. Akshaya is driven to continuously develop her skills and knowledge and possesses a rare ability to communicate and work effectively with owners, developers, construction attorneys, general contractors, and subcontractors.
