Michael Makris joined BHC in 2016 following his graduation from Iowa State University, and he was promoted to Project Manager in 2024 to serve as a leader for much of BHC’s Civic and Healthcare portfolios, including hospitals, senior living facilities, city halls, and first responder stations. Throughout his project experience, Michael has shown a commitment to providing functional designs for end-users and a passion for sustainability. As an Engineering Professional, Michael’s clients describe him as a positive communicator and trusted design partner, which results in clients reaching out to him at the earliest stages of project feasibility to assist with the identification of site constraints. Additionally, Michael prides himself on being a mentor to BHC’s interns and new profes- sionals, operating with the goal to develop a strong problem- solving skill set among those he works with.
