Alanna Watts is a licensed professional mechanical engineer for Parkhill in the MEP and Structural sector. She has more than 10 years of experience in designing HVAC and plumb- ing systems for a variety of commercial facility types. Alanna joined Parkhill in 2013 and specializes in Building Informa- tion Modeling (BIM), HVAC design automation, and building acoustics. Her contributions to projects and internal processes and standards at Parkhill are widely recognized across the firm and regionally. She led the City of Lubbock model codes and construction energy code analysis to make local regional recommendations to city building code adoptions. In 2019, she presented at Autodesk University on BIM Automation. Her experience as a mechanical design engineer has provided her valuable insight into the best practices and standards for commercial building design and the protection of the public health, safety, and welfare of those who utilize these facilities.
