El Gran Valparaíso requiere un nuevo paradigma que permita revertir el impacto que la urbanización ha generado al ignorar los sistemas ecológicos naturales y resilientes. El primer fundamento de la propuesta es partir desde la "Inteligencia del paisaje", en base al reconocimiento de los elementos estructurales de la ecología del paisaje y a partir de ellos desarrollar intervenciones y proyectos de infraestructuras verdes, que permitan recuperar el equilibrio ambiental de la ciudad, construir espacios públicos resilientes y agregar valor en base a la idea de una Smart Sustainable City .
The Greater Valparaíso requires a new paradigm to reverse the impact that urbanization has generated by ignoring natural and resilient ecological systems. The first foundation of the proposal is to start from the "Landscape Intelligence", based on the recognition of the structural elements of the ecology of the landscape, and from them develop interventions and green infrastructure projects, to recover the environmental balance of the city, build resilient public spaces and add value based on the idea of a Smart Sustainable City.
