El encargo consistió en crear una clásica brasserie francesa pero en código moderno. Se propuso una arquitectura de líneas claras definiendo los espacios de manera sencilla y donde los materiales locales –hormigón expuesto, acero negro y maderas finas– se entrelazaran para brindar una experiencia acogedora. The commission involved creating a classic French brasserie with a modern twist. An architectural design of clear lines defines the spaces in a simple way, and local materials –exposed concrete, black steel and fine woods– combine to provide a welcoming experience.
Como ubicación se escogió la avenida El Rodeo en La Dehesa, una calle que progresivamente ha ido sumando variada oferta gastronómica y también comercio. Donde antes existía una casa, se proyectó desde cero una edificación que contemplara dos pisos de restaurante, una gran terraza posterior circundante y un subterráneo de estacionamientos. The chosen location is El Rodeo Avenue in La Dehesa, a street that progressively features a diverse gastronomic offer and retail. Where there used to be a house, a building was designed from scratch, with a two level restaurant, a large surrounding back terrace and an underground parking lot.
