En una primera instancia como determinación pasiva de localización, el edificio se plantea como una torre rectangular que se orienta oriente-poniente. Deja su máxima exposición hacia el sur, como una gran caja de vidrio de muro cortina aprovechando la luz indirecta. Hacia el norte cuenta con volados de 1 m y una piel de celosías verticales que hacen de parasoles, reduciendo hasta en 40% la radiación hacia el interior de las oficinas. El edificio es el remate o acceso a un nuevo bulevar comercial que debe consolidarse. Un hito. En este sentido se recogen las variables del entorno inmediato y su rol en la ciudad, planteando una nueva escala de barrio. La placa comercial o galería y la generación de más espacios comunes se imponen ante la torre que se relega hacia el sur, para potenciar las relaciones con la calle y el peatón. Espacios intermedios proponen ventanas hacia la ciudad, enmarcando el paisaje y mostrando nuevas relaciones con su entorno.
The first decision regarding placement was to present the building as a rectangular tower with an east west orientation. Its maximum exposure is to the south, as a large glass curtain wall box taking advantage of the indirect light. To the north, 1 m wide cantilevers and a skin of vertical parasol lattices reduce in up to 40% the solar radiation of the interior offices. The building is the ending or entrance to a new commercial boulevard that must be consolidated, a milestone. In this regard it gathers the variables of the immediate environment and their role in the city, representing a new scale for the neighborhood. The commercial slab or gallery and the additional common spaces are placed in front the tower, relegating it to the south, and enhancing the relationship with the street and the pedestrian. Intermediate spaces constitute windows to the city, framing the landscape and showing new relationships with the surroundings.
