El edificio actúa como un cubo blanco que busca poner en relevancia lo exhibido en su interior. Abierto visualmente al transeúnte, muestra su vida interior y se vincula con el entorno. The building becomes a clean white cube to highlight its interior exhibition. Visually open to passersby, it displays its inner life and connects with the surrounding context.

El nuevo edificio de Porcelanosa en Santiago se emplaza en la Av. Luis Pasteur en Vitacura, vía comercial dentro de un barrio principalmente residencial. Se optó por situar el edificio levemente por debajo del nivel de la calle, al fin de tener directa relación con ella en los dos niveles públicos, conformando una gran vitrina que muestra su vida interior y es referente hacia el peatón. Al mismo tiempo, se vincula con la imponente situación geográfica del sector, existiendo entonces una doble relación con el entorno: calle y cerros del norte.
The new Porcelanosa building in Santiago is located on Avenida Luis Pasteur in Vitacura, a commercial road in a mainly residential neighborhood. The decision to place the building slightly below street level allowed a direct relationship between the street and the two public levels of the building, while becoming a large showcase that shows its inner life and is a reference to the pedestrian. At the same time, it is linked to the striking geographical situation of the area. A double relationship is established with the context: with the street and with the hills to the north.
