El volumen que concentra el programa público de la casa abarca en un solo gran espacio el living, el comedor y la cocina. En este lugar destaca la transparencia y continuidad espacial a las terrazas gracias a grandes paños de ventanas de 3.60 metros de altura.
The volume that concentrates the house´s public program includes the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen in one big space. In this room, the transparency and spatial continuity to the terraces stand out thanks to large panel sections of 3.60-meter high windows.
El volumen que concentra el programa público de la casa abarca en un solo gran espacio el living, el comedor y la cocina. En este lugar destaca la transparencia y continuidad espacial a las terrazas gracias a grandes paños de ventanas que miden 3.60 metros de altura. Por su parte, las terrazas del lado sur se van acomodando a la pendiente del terreno generando una instancia distinta en cada nivel, como es el caso de los asientos en obra para reuniones, el quincho y bar, hasta llegar a la piscina. El volumen de los dormitorios se organiza de forma ordenada y lineal y se caracteriza por los patios interiores que dan luz, ventilación y privacidad a cada uno de los baños así como también al gran pasillo distribuidor. En un nivel inferior a los dormitorios, se destinó un espacio exclusivo para un taller de arte al que se accede desde el hall de acceso. La forma en que está dispuesta la volumetría de la casa genera un acceso descendente desde la calle hacia el ingreso abrazado por los volúmenes que por su disposición en forma de “V” dirigen todo el trayecto dramáticamente por medio de una escalinata de durmientes que se funde con el paisajismo. Los materiales de construcción son escasos y se muestran tal cual son: hormigón a la vista en todos los muros, radieres afinados como pavimento, madera de ciprés, sin barniz ni tintes, en las celosías sobre la terraza y como detalle en las juntas de dilatación de del piso. /
The volume that concentrates the house´s public program includes the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen in one big space. In this room, the transparency and spatial continuity to the terraces stand out thanks to large panel sections of 3.60-meter high windows. On the other hand, the terraces on the south side are accommodated to the slope of the land creating a different setting at each level, as is the case of the seats built for meetings, the barbecue area and bar, until you reach the pool. The volume of the bedrooms is organized in an orderly and linear way and is characterized by the interior patios that give light, ventilation, and privacy to each of the bathrooms as well as to the large distribution corridor. On the level below the bedrooms, an exclusive space was designed for an art workshop that can be accessed from the entrance hall. The way the house´s volumetry is arranged creates a descending access from the street to the entrance embraced by the volumes that, due to their "V" shape arrangement, dramatically direct the entire path by means of a staircase of crosstie wooden beams that merges with the landscaping. The construction materials are few and are shown as they are: exposed concrete in all the walls, polished foundation as flooring, cypress wood, without varnish or stains, for the latticework on the terrace and as a detail in the floor´s expansion joints. /
