Nodo es un Hotel urbano orientado a un público joven y dinámico, donde la conectividad y la sociabilización son pilares fundamentales de la propuesta. Se buscó fortalecer el concepto de ciudad, en este caso Santiago, y unirla a la red global de urbes através del lenguaje universal del buen diseño. Para esto se decidió usar muebles de connotados diseñadores del último siglo. En su particular lobby se aprecia una propuesta de diseño internacional, con la presencia de piezas como la butaca Up de Gaetano Pesce, y las silla Mademoiselle de Phillip Stark, entre otros. A la vez, incorpora líneas sinuosas y naturales a través de las lámparas del neozelandés David Trubridge. Su colección Inmersion, inspirada en organismos submarinos, deslumbra con sus diseños Navícula y Coral. El lobby está pensado, más que para acceder, como un punto de sociabilización, ocio y trabajo. Así es como se creó un espacio dinámico donde se mezclan constantemente las actividades del hotel con las de un lounge y co-work. En la totalidad del espacio se ven texturas y formas que provienen de la naturaleza lo cual invita a los pasajeros a sentirse más cómodos y menos estresados. Se trabajaron los colores, alturas, e iluminación, junto con la asesoría del Instituto de Neuroarquitectura y Diseño (NAD), para lograr confort y sincronía.
Nodo is an urban hotel oriented to a young and dynamic public, where connectivity and socialization are the proposal´s fundamental pillars. The objective was to strengthen the city concept, in this case, Santiago, and join it to the global network of cities through the universal language of good design. For this purpose, the use of furniture from renowned designers of the last century was chosen. In its unique lobby, a proposal of international design can be appreciated, with the presence of pieces such as the Up chair by Gaetano Pesce, and the Mademoiselle chair by Phillip Stark, among others. At the same time, it incorporates sinuous and natural lines through the lamps of New Zealander David Trubridge. His "Immersion" collection, inspired by underwater organisms, dazzles with its Navicula and Coral designs. The lobby is designed, more than to access, as a point of socialization, leisure and work. This is how a dynamic space was created where the hotel activities are constantly mixed with those of a lounge and co-work. In the entire space, you can see textures and shapes that come from nature, which invites the guests to feel more comfortable and less stressed. Colors, heights, and lighting were developed with advice from the Institute of Neuroarchitecture and Design (NAD), to achieve comfort and synchronicity. Under the same logic, the rooms and
