Tomando como punto de partida la arquitectura monomaterial y la investigación de objetos externos al mundo de la arquitectura, Paula Cabezón intenta abrir caminos de producción imprevistos con el fin de ampliar la práctica de la arquitectura que, a su juicio, ha caído en soluciones recurrentes. Tomando como referencia la rueda china de Vietnam, la arquitecta propone el nudo como elemento poseedor de múltiples ventajas constructivas aplicables a la arquitectura contemporánea. Starting from mono-material architecture and the investigation of external objects not related to the world of architecture, Paula Cabezón tries to open unforeseen production paths in order to expand the practice of architecture that, in her opinion, has fallen into recurring solutions. Taking the Chinese wheel from Vietnam as a reference, the architect proposes the knot as an element possessing multiple constructive advantages applicable to contemporary architecture.
