such as aluminum or fiber-reinforced plastic in vehicles, as well as steel and concrete used in buildings. The application, which has been prototyped and is in the process of being engineered, consists of a structural shell made of a biocomposite wood, which achieves a high structural performance thanks to the combination of its geometry and the direction of its fibers. As in a tree, these are oriented according to the structural effort they must resist. In this way, a resistant form of minimum thickness is achieved, with the ability to have a free form that solves complex geometries and can fuse several functions into a single piece. Its materialization considers an automated process that links design with additive manufacturing, which guarantees consistent quality. By using a robotic production line, they proceed to obtain the biocomposite wood with the correct density, orientation, and thickness, along with the resin that binds them. Recently, Strong by Form has won the Wood Startup Challenge organized by CORMA and has attracted the attention of companies such as BMW and ARUP, who have expressed interest in Woodflow. Strong by Form is at the forefront of sustainable materials and not only has the ability to revolutionize the mobility and construction sectors but also to provide a high value-added wood products industry from Chile to the world. /
