"green mining", which is related to sustainable practices and minimum environmental impact. The "rail yard reconversion plan" helps to proj- ect the future sustainably. For this reason, in recent years, FCAB has undertaken a deep transformation to better respond to the needs of its customers, workers, and citizens' expectations. Heritage Vision FCAB strives to ensure the heritage conservation of an important part of its most representative and valuable infrastructure in order to avoid its neglect and abandonment. To this end, flexible spaces and the necessary adaptation have been considered in order to find collaborative work to achieve heritage conser- vation that allows its appropriation by the entire community. With this in mind, we are looking to activate heritage that, with its history, building, and real estate, tells a story that includes the ex- perience of generations of neighbors and workers, and that they have the opportunity to participate in its valuation. This translates into a major opportunity for urban reconversion taking into account that the rest of the Antofagasta city's heritage situation

is neglected, with no plans to integrate it, nor a narrative that contextualizes it within the terri- tory. On the contrary, the railway heritage is rich in well-preserved elements with high historical content. This gives it the potential to become an important resource for the city, awakening images of the past that evoke the nostalgia of other times missing from the current collective identity, and creating a promising opportunity so that, through a plan integrating and managing these elements, progress can be made towards the configuration of a "railway cultural landscape" that builds and consolidates a heritage story. This plan may also be the first step towards the creation of a platform for continuous social dialogue on Antofagasta's heritage, given its status as the first experience of its kind in the city.
