This ambitious plan cannot and should not pre- tend to be faced only with municipal resources and efforts; therefore, at this stage, multisector work is of great relevance when it comes to intervening in a portion of the city. It was for this reason that the Municipality of Lo Barnechea, during the second half of 2022, invited the city's relevant actors to a governance roundtable, where the plan to develop and finance it was presented and collaborative work ties began to be created. Within the framework of this governance roundtable, the need arose to establish working alliances with AOA, which culminated last April with the signing of a collaboration agreement for the master plan's development. This instance of collaborative work was decisive in developing the plan, providing it with a high-quality seal for the urban and housing proposals that will make it possible to substantially improve the lives of
the neighborhood's residents and the desired integration with the rest of the community. The call made by PNDU in 2014 has been ac- cepted by Lo Barnechea and the work that has been carried out by PRU has not only aimed to outline the plan to face this neighborhood's chal- lenges but also to create a public policy that, from a local logic and with relevance to the municipality's attributions, can propose this methodology to the rest of the country's mayors, thus addressing this objective as a national priority. !
AOA, lo que culminó en abril pasado con la firma de un convenio de colaboración para el desa- rrollo del plan maestro. Esta instancia de trabajo colaborativo fue decisiva para el desarrollo del plan, impregnándole un sello de alta calidad en los planteamientos urbanos y habitacionales que harán posible mejorar sustancialmente la vida de los vecinos del barrio y la deseada integración al resto de la comuna. El llamado que hizo la PNDU el 2014 ha sido acogido por parte de Lo Barnechea y el trabajo que se ha llevado adelante por el PRU, no sólo ha tenido como objetivo trazar el plan para enfrentar los desafíos de este barrio, sino también se ha propuesto crear una política pública que, a partir de la lógica local y con pertinencia a las atribucio- nes municipales, pueda proponer al resto de los alcaldes del país esta metodología, abordando este objetivo como una prioridad nacional. !
