KAPPA PHILANTHROPY: THE GALLERY
The Houston (TX) Alumni Chapter as well as surrounding chap- ters coordinated thousands of dollars in supplies and volunteers throughout Kappa Alpha Psi ® for the families affected by Hur- ricane Harvey. Those efforts included the cities of Houston, Co- lumbus, La Grange and Edna, Texas. The Grand Board of Directors led calls and coordination efforts in support of the U.S. Depart- ment of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and its federal partners. Through its iKare efforts, fraternity members contributed thousands more to relief efforts in conjunction with the American Red Cross and its partners. At left, Toriquic Dunkley (Tampa (FL) Alumni 2016) is one of 160 nurses who volunteered in Houston's hospitals during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
