almost the entire Antarctic ecosystem in its surroundings. The iceberg analysis can be extrapolated to a more complex system at a territorial scale, adapting different theories of landscape ecology, including island biogeography. This provides a key to reading the location that allows us to associate different territorial and temporal scales. An icebergscape is a unique landscape type, constituted at the same time by elements common to the landscape (glacier) and seascape (marine currents), which can be interpreted in its complexity through the complementary application of a mosaic model (icebergs as fragments of patches and steps) and gradient ( ecosystemic hotspot intensity). After defining icebergscape from a theoretical point of view, a landscape architecture intervention was carried

out to allow its approximation and visualization, through the interpretation in the sense of an "iceberg park", a figure capable of allowing a direct relationship between the human being and the landscape. In order to identify useful strategies for the design and planning in the Antarctic area, the evolution of the park concept from 18th-century gardens to contemporary parks was analyzed. The result is a proposal that attempts to provide, provocatively, elements of reflection on the relationship between humans and the continent through the creation of an infrastructural framework formed by highly technological, adap- tive, and dynamic buoys, which allows monitoring systematization, planning, and design processes of an area subject to continuous changes. This infrastructure is

designed to be operational throughout the year, both with the sea surface in a liquid and frozen state, through a precise intervention plan. The buoys used, allow us to define a datum, a unique reference system within the landscape, and are designed with specific strategies to ensure their sustainability and autonomy. The framework's scientific function is comple- mented by the creation of architectural inserts that emphasize the "sublime", giving visitors an original experience, and the didactic, in order for them to understand the phenomena of climate change taking place on a local and global scale. Likewise, the experiences can be focused on introspection, as in the case of viewpoints or insertions that allow partial isolation to contemplate the landscape; or they can evoke the spirit of adventure of the first explorers and retrace, in a modern way, their steps.
