En esta nueva edición de Experiencia Detonante III, se invitó a los alumnos de arquitectura de la Universidad del Desarrollo a diseñar un proyecto para el concurso Ethiopian Satellites Preschools. La propuesta de los estudiantes Clemente Luhrs, Fernando Domínguez y María Antonella Perrotta, quienes estuvieron dirigidos por la oficina NODO, resultó ganadora del certamen.
In this new edition of Detonating Experience III, architecture students from Universidad del Desarrollo were invited to design a project for the Ethiopian Satellites Preschools competition. The students proposal by Clemente Luhrs, Fernando Domínguez and María Antonella Perrotta, who were directed by the NODO office, won the competition.
Como cada año, los alumnos de Taller de quinto año de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Arte de la Universidad del De- sarrollo, tanto de Santiago como Concepción, participan de la Experiencia Detonante III, programa formativo que busca que los estudiantes se enfrenten a escenarios reales que inviten a la reflexión crítica de la profesión. En esta versión participaron 105 alumnos, quienes en conjunto con nueve oficina de arquitectura trabajaron du- rante cinco días para diseñar un proyecto para el concurso Ethiopian Satellites Preschools . Las oficinas que participaron fueron ABWB, Archiplan, Gonzalo Mardones, Badia + Soffia, Lira + Tuckermann, Sáez & Joannon, Elton + Léniz, Cristián Boza Wilson y Nodo. El jurado, compuesto por Pablo Allard, decano de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Arte de la Universidad del De- sarrollo, y los arquitectos Mónica Álvarez de Oro, presidenta de la AOA, y Sebastián Silva, alumno de Arquitectura UDD y ganador de los fondos para construir una escuela para más de cien niños en Arusha, Tanzania, África, dio como ganador al equipo de los estudiantes Clemente Luhrs, Fernando Domínguez y María Antonella Perrotta, quienes estuvieron dirigidos por la oficina Nodo.
Just like every year, the fifth-year students from Universidad del Desarrollo's Faculty of Architecture and Art, both from Santiago and Concepción, participated in the Detonating Experience III, a training program that seeks to confront students with real scenarios that invite them to critically reflect on the profession. In this version, 105 students participated, working to- gether with nine architecture offices for five days to design a project for the Ethiopian Satellites Preschools competi- tion. The offices that participated were ABWB, Archiplan, Gonzalo Mardones, Badia + Soffia, Lira + Tuckermann, Sáez & Joannon, Elton + Léniz, Cristián Boza Wilson and Nodo. The jury, composed of Pablo Allard, dean of Universidad del Desarrollo's Faculty of Architecture and Art, and archi- tects Mónica Álvarez de Oro, AOA president, and Sebastián Silva, UDD Architecture alumnus and winner of the funds to build a school for more than 100 children in Arusha, Tanzania, Africa, awarded the team of students Clemente Luhrs, Fernando Domínguez, and María Antonella Perrotta, who were led by the Nodo office as the winner.
↥ La propuesta plantea generar una escuela autosuficiente que permita cultivar diversos tipos de alimentos para la comunidad. The proposal is to create a self-sufficient school to grow various types of food for the community.
