"Conscious Actions" consiste en una serie de dispositivos interactivos, arquitectónicos e inspirados en el juego, que invita a los usuarios a divertirse y a ser niños nuevamente, al mismo tiempo que hace recordar el impacto directo que las acciones humana tienen en el medio ambiente.
Each winter, the Miami Design District invites architects, designers, and artists to create an artistic installation on the Ponti Promenade, the heart of the neighborhood that combines architecture, vegetation, and existing works of art with a unique experience for visitors. In 2020, the call was made in collaboration with the curators of Anava Projects and its theme was to reflect on energy: both the energy we consume and the energy we contribute to the world while seeking to propose concrete ac- tions towards a more resilient, healthy, and equitable Miami. The gt2P office, with its project "Conscious Actions", was the winner among four other invited teams. Their pro- posal consisted of a series of interactive, architectural, and game-inspired devices that invite users to have fun and be children again, while at the same time reminding them of the direct impact that human actions have on the environment and communities. Each of the elements that make up this intervention is triggered by physical and natural forces. By playing, users generate energy that manifests itself in the transformation of the objects and creates reactive shadows, rolling surfaces, and kinetic movement. Two types of devices were installed: a series of umbrel- las distributed throughout the neighborhood and the main element, a swing made up of steel frames that support a series of interconnected blades that are triggered by a spring mechanism connected to a swinging seat. In this way, those who are swinging are able to activate the surface of the slats that move in a coordinated and rolling movement that transforms the spatiality of the game by creating changing

Cada invierno, el Miami Design District invita a arquitec- tos, diseñadores y artistas a crear en el Paseo Ponti, corazón del barrio, una instalación que se integre a la arquitectura, a la vegetación y a las obras de arte existentes y que, además, entregue una experiencia única a los visitantes. El año 2020 la convocatoria se realizó en colaboración con los curadores de Anava Projects y su temática planteó reflexionar en torno a la energía: tanto la que consumimos, como la energía que aportamos al mundo, buscando, a la vez, proponer acciones concretas en dirección hacia un Miami más resiliente, saludable y equitativo. La oficina gt2P, con su proyecto “Conscious Actions”, resultó ganadora entre otros cuatro equipos invitados. Su propuesta consistió en una serie de dispositivos in- teractivos, arquitectónicos e inspirados en el juego, que invita a los usuarios a divertirse y a ser niños nuevamente, al mismo tiempo que hace recordar el impacto directo que las acciones humana tienen en el medio ambiente y en las comunidades. Cada uno de los elemento que componen esta intervención se activa mediante fuerzas físicas y naturales. Al jugar, los usuarios generan energía que se manifesta en la transformaciones de los objetos y que crean sombras reactivas, superficies ondulantes y movimiento cinético.
