El concurso invitaba a los participantes a elegir una escuela existente, y generar un modelo informativo tridi- mensional del edificio y su intervención, modelo que será donado al Ministerio de Energía y a la Dirección de Educación Pública y a las Municipalidades sostenedoras. El estudio bonaerense SAVA Arquitectos, conformado por Julieta Vilaplana y Esteban Sciarrota, obtuvo el primer lugar con su proyecto “Escuela-Hogar Riñinahue” . El jurado estuvo compuesto por Sergio Baeriswyl, presidente del Consejo Nacional de Desarrollo Urbano; Yves Besançon, past president de la AOA; David Basulto, cofundador de ArchDaily; Soledad Larraín, representante del Colegio de Arquitectos; Emilio de la Cerda, subsecretario del Patrimonio Cultural; Daniela Freire, jefa Aseguramiento Calidad del Diseño del Ministerio de Educación; Alejandra Schueftan, doctora en Ciencias Forestales UACH; José Antonio Espinoza, máster en Diseño Medioambiental Sostenible AA UK; Carlos Bas- cou, representando a la CChC; Erwin Navarrete, Jefe de la División Técnica del Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo; y Jorge Sommerhoff, Doctorado en Acústica; y el arqui- tecto Alberto Texido, miembro del Consejo de Políticas de Infraestructura CPI.
The contest invited participants to choose an existing school and create a three-dimensional informative model of the building and its intervention, models that will be donated to the Ministry of Energy, the Public Education Department, and the sponsoring municipalities. The Buenos Aires firm SAVA Arquitectos, made up of Julieta Vilaplana and Esteban Sciarrota, won first place with their project "Riñinahue School-Home". The jury was composed of Sergio Baeriswyl, president of the National Urban Development Council; Yves Besançon, past president of AOA; David Basulto, co-founder of ArchDaily; Soledad Larraín, representative of the College of Architects; Emilio de la Cerda, undersecretary of Cultural Heritage; Daniela Freire, head of Design Quality Assurance from the Ministry of Education; Alejandra Schueftan, Ph.D. in Forestry Sci- ences UACH; José Antonio Espinoza, Master in Sustainable Environmental Design AA UK; Carlos Bascou, representing the CChC; Erwin Navarrete, Head of the Technical Division from the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism; and Jorge Sommerhoff, Ph.D. in Acoustics; and architect Alberto Texido, member of the Infrastructure Policy Council CPI.
↖ El proyecto considera envolver el edificio con las tecnologías EIFS de StoTherm acondicionándolo térmicamente y de manera continua en su cara exterior. The project considers wrapping the building with StoTherm EIFS technology, thermally conditioning its exterior face continuously. ↦ Se propone vincular los dos edificio mediante un volumen conector de 10 metros de ancho. A 10-meter wide connecting volume is proposed that connects the two buildings.
