El nido del cóndor / Kurtur Marqa 'Kuntur Marqa' era una expresión en quechua que significa 'nido del cóndor' y era utilizada por los muiscas para referirse a la región andina donde esta ave reinaba. Anida entre los 1000 y 5000 metros de altura, generalmente en formaciones rocosas inaccesibles. En la mayoría de los casos observados, los dormideros y posaderos preferidos, y por ende disputados, son los que reciben más temprano los rayos solares. Monógamos, generalmente ponen un solo huevo en peñones protegidos del viento generando una cavidad con su pecho. Luego de incubar el huevo por tres meses la hembra deja al macho la crianza del polluelo durante los próximos dos años, tiempo que demora en mudar su plumaje y emprender el vuelo. El proyecto alude a ese lugar y a ese vuelo. Busca los primeros rayos del sol y prepara un delicado textil para volar.

The condor's nest / Kuntur Marqa 'Kuntur Marqa' was a Quechua expression meaning 'condor's nest' and was used by the Muiscas to refer to the Andean region where this bird reigned supreme. It nests between 1000 and 5000 meters above sea level, generally in inaccessible rock formations. In most of the observed cases, the preferred, and therefore disputed, roosts and perches are those that receive the sun's rays the earliest. Monogamous, they generally lay a single egg on rocks protected from the wind by generating a cavity with their chests. After incubating the egg for three months, the female leaves the male to raise the chick for the next two years, the time it takes to shed its feathers and take flight. The project alludes to that place and that flight. It looks for the sun´s first rays and prepares a delicate textile to fly.
