El bloque A y B contaban en su primer nivel con cuatro y seis locales comerciales respectivamente, de 50 m 2 . El bloque A, tenía departamentos que combinaban estar, y cocina con logia -que sobresalía en la fachada levemente-, con vistas hacia la calle, tres dormitorios y un baño, alcanzando una superficie aproximada de 54,5 m 2 . El bloque B, el más largo, tenía departamentos leve- mente más grandes que alcanzaban a 63,2 m 2 . En este caso se organizaban el estar a la calle y la cocina al patio, ambos recintos con balcones y logias que sobresalen del plomo de fachada, sumaban solo dos dormitorios. El bloque C, el único que no tenía portal en el primer nivel, destinada esta planta para pequeños departamentos que alteraban la lectura modulada en el primer nivel, aun- que desde el segundo hacia arriba, repetía la distribución del bloque A. Las fachadas de todos los boques son el resultado de la precisión geométrica establecida sobre las plantas, de modo que, una grilla exacta, ordenada y rigurosa, formada por vigas y pilares, destaca sobre una composición, que resulta sobria y elegante. Esta trama solo es alterada con el uso de una viga aérea que hace de antetecho y remate superior de cada bloque. Esta trama muestra cuidadas diferencias de diseño en la expresión de la escalera, la logia, el estar y los dormitorios. El conjunto y sus piezas, entra en la historia de la modernidad arquitectónica chilena en varias de sus di- mensiones. The first floor of blocks A and B had four and six 50 m 2 retail spaces, respectively. Block A had apartments that included a combined living room and kitchen with a laundry room -slightly protruding from the facade- overlooking the street, three bedrooms, and a bathroom, with an approximate surface area of 54.5 m 2 . Block B, the longest block, had slightly larger apart- ments, measuring 63.2 m 2 . In this case, the living room was oriented to the street and the kitchen to the courtyard, both rooms with balconies and laundry rooms overhanging the facade, with only two bedrooms. Block C, the only one without a portal on the first floor, was intended for small apartments that altered the mod- ulated layout on the first level, although from the second floor upwards, it repeated the block A layout. All the blocks´ facades are the result of the geometric precision established on the floors, so that an exact, or- derly and rigorous pattern, formed by beams and pillars, stands out on a composition, which is restrained and elegant. This pattern is only altered with the use of an overhead beam that acts as a parapet and top of each block. This pattern shows careful design differences in the staircase´s expression, the laundry room, the living room, and the bedrooms. The complex and its pieces enter the Chilean archi- tectural modernity history in several of its dimensions.
